Calibration and testing limits

Audience: administrators. Editorial review: 2026-09-15.

Calibration means reviewing whether rules and criteria match an organization’s needs. It does not imply that Defend automatically learns from every correction.

  1. Define an information category and the expected result.
  2. Prepare representative fictional samples, including variations and cases that should not be detected.
  3. Use the testing procedure enabled for your version.
  4. Compare results and request review before changing configuration that affects users.

This article does not announce automatic calibration or unverified advanced controls. Documentation for those controls will be added once they are available and reviewed. Until then, use the rule-testing guide and do not treat a successful sample as a general guarantee.
