The scope documented by this help site is ChatGPT in Chrome with the Defend extension enabled. The presence of a browser permission does not prove support for another provider.
Before use
Section titled “Before use”- Confirm your organization’s approved Chrome and Defend versions.
- Open ChatGPT and check protection on that tab.
- Check again after updating, reloading or changing context.
Limits
Section titled “Limits”Coverage is not promised for other applications, mobile apps, browsers or AI providers. Differences between conversations and projects must be tested against the published version. If a surface does not confirm protection, do not use it with sensitive data assuming it is covered.
