Defend is a protection aid, not permission to share data or a replacement for internal rules.
Important limits
Section titled “Important limits”- False positives and missed detections can occur.
- A result with no detections does not guarantee the absence of sensitive information.
- A low score does not certify regulatory compliance.
- Protection does not recall information already sent to a third party.
- Do not assume coverage for every provider, file, format or browser state.
What to do
Section titled “What to do”Review the content and state before sending. If a notice, unexpected result or uncertainty about coverage arises, cancel and ask your administrator. Use fictional data when reporting problems. Do not bypass a block by pasting the original into another tool.
