Read dashboard metrics

The dashboard summarizes activity available to your account. Read every number with its period, scope and filters; it does not necessarily describe all organizational activity.

Steps

1. Confirm the organization and account you are using.
2. Review metric labels and the selected period.
3. Distinguish events, detections and averages. Do not add unrelated indicators together.
4. If a number needs explanation, consult the available detail and the Risk Score guide.

Expected result

You can explain what each number represents. An empty dashboard can mean missing data or access; it does not prove an absence of risk. If the dashboard reports an error, do not base decisions on incomplete figures.
